Chinese-English Translation
for Business in Asia
Asia Pro translates contracts, product documentation, marketing materials, and regulatory filings between Chinese and English. Native Mandarin speakers with business and legal expertise — no machine translation.

Why It Matters
Business Chinese Is Not Everyday Chinese
A distributor contract, a regulatory filing with GACC or SAMR, a product label in Mandarin, or a WeChat negotiation — each requires precise Chinese that reflects legal, commercial, and cultural context. Machine translation gets the words. It misses the meaning.
Our translators are native Mandarin speakers with backgrounds in business law, food regulation, and commercial contracts. They have handled translations for brands entering China, and for Chinese distributors entering Western markets.

Services
What We Translate
Distribution Contracts
Legal and Commercial
Distributor agreements, exclusivity clauses, minimum order commitments, territory definitions, and termination provisions. Chinese commercial contract language has specific conventions — we translate intent, not just words.
Regulatory Filings
GACC, SAMR, CCCOC
GACC food facility registration documents, SAMR product registration filings, China Compulsory Certification (CCC/CCCOC) documentation, and BPOM (Indonesia) or Thai FDA regulatory submissions requiring Chinese-to-English or English-to-Chinese translation.
Product Labels and Packaging
Mandarin Compliance Copy
Chinese-language label copy for all food categories: ingredient list (配料表), nutritional panel (营养成分表), allergen declarations, storage instructions, and mandatory regulatory text. Reviewed against current SAMR food labeling standards before delivery.
Marketing and Brand Copy
Tmall, WeChat, Xiaohongshu
Product descriptions for Tmall and JD listings, WeChat official account posts, Xiaohongshu KOL briefs, brand story copy, and advertising claims adapted for the Chinese consumer — not translated, re-written for the market.
Business Correspondence
Email, WeChat, Negotiation
Translation of business emails, WeChat negotiation threads, meeting notes, and internal communications with Chinese partners. We also provide real-time interpretation support for video calls and in-person distributor meetings.
Chinese Brand Name Creation
品牌命名
Chinese brand name development: phonetic proximity to the original name, positive meaning in Mandarin, and trademark availability check. We present 3 to 5 options with rationale. This is one of the highest-value investments a brand entering China can make.
What Our Clients Say
When the Translation Gets It Right
“Our first Chinese distributor contract was translated by a generic agency. We signed a clause that gave the distributor exclusivity over all of China with no performance minimum. Asia Pro reviewed the Chinese original and flagged it immediately. Their re-translation saved us a 3-year exclusivity trap.”
European beverage brand
China distributor contract review
“Asia Pro created our Chinese brand name. We had tried to use our French name phonetically — it sounded bad in Mandarin. They proposed 双喜 variants that kept our brand DNA and tested well with Chinese consumers. Our Tmall store opened with the new name and sales were 3x our forecast.”

FAQ
Common Questions
Do you use machine translation? +
We use AI tools for first-draft speed on long documents, but every final translation is reviewed and approved by a native Mandarin-speaking human translator with domain expertise in your document type. For contracts and regulatory filings, the review step is non-negotiable. We never deliver machine-only output for business-critical documents.
Can you handle simplified and traditional Chinese? +
Yes. Simplified Chinese (简体字) is used in mainland China and Singapore. Traditional Chinese (繁體字) is used in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Macau. We produce both versions and advise on which is appropriate for your specific market and platform.
What is your turnaround time? +
Standard: 48 hours for documents under 5,000 words. Rush (24h) available for urgent contracts or regulatory deadlines at a surcharge. For large projects (full product range label copy, full GACC regulatory filing) we agree a schedule upfront. We always meet the deadline we commit to.
Do you also translate into Vietnamese, Thai, or other Asian languages? +
Yes. Beyond Chinese-English, we handle: Vietnamese (for nhãn phụ labels, distributor correspondence), Thai (regulatory text, retail buyer presentations), Bahasa Malaysia and Bahasa Indonesia (label compliance, halal documentation). All are handled by native speakers with business expertise — not by generic translation services.
